The globular body with decorative grooves around the shoulder and raised disk base, the narrow neck with flared mouth and single loop handle. H: 8 1/8" (20.7 cm); W: 7 3/4" (19.7 cm). Ancient Roman, 3rd - 4th Century AD. Nice large two-handled jug. The body ovoid with well-turned foot, and flared mouth with thick angled lip. H: 6 1/8 in (15.5 cm). Intact and quite nice! Ex Orange County, CA private collection. #AR2212: $375
Roman North Africa, 3rd - 4th Century AD. Large orange-ware shallow bowl or dish. With steeply angled walls, a wide, flat bottom and a narrow ring base. Dia: 9" (22.9 cm). Intact, earthen encrustation on the bottom. Ex San Diego private collection. ex-New Jersey Superior Court judge private collection; ex-Coincraft, London, acquired 1994. No stand unfortunately. A large roman red-ware amphora, c. 3rd - 4th Century AD. The body with vertical ribbing ridges around the shoulder, the foot is flared and a pair of strap handles flank the widely flared mouth. H: 10" (25.5 cm). Intact with remaining deep brick-red slip. Ex Las Vegas, NV coll. Huge impressive display piece! #AR2280: $899

Small fragment missing from bottom, otherwise intact. Extremely old collector tag with inked note which appears to read 'Ribeherto'. 10.3 cm x 6 cm (4" x 2 3/8").
