Ancient Rome, c. 1st-3rd century AD. Nice small ceramic bowl. Likely used for serving tabletop seasonings such as salt. Nice rounded form with small round foot. Stands on its own. Dia: 2 3/4" (70 mm), stands 1 1/4" (32 mm) tall. Ex New York private collection. #AG2014: $175

 Roman North Africa, c. 3rd Century AD. Fantastic roman red slip handled drinking cup. With piriform body, raised base and single handle. Intact, minor chip to base, earthen deposits. 4 7/8 in (12.4 cm). Ex Dr. Gilles Collection, Germany, acquired during the 1950’s & 60’s. Feels great in-hand. Excellent! #AR2279: $750 
Ancient Rome, c. 1st - 2nd Century BC. Large roman orange-ware jug, Eastern Mediterranean. The globular body with decorative grooves around the shoulder and raised disk base, the narrow neck with flared mouth and single loop handle. H: 8 1/8" (20.7 cm); W: 7 3/4" (19.7 cm). Intact with mineral deposits throughout. Ex Las Vegas, NV collection. Huge and impressive! #AR2278: $575
 Roman Holy Land, c. 1st Century AD. terracotta oil vial, found near Jerusalem. 88 mm (3 1/2"), repaired at neck. Orange surfaces under heavy earthen deposits. ex-Hamedian Gallery, Via Dolorosa, Old City, Jerusalem. Terrible photo, my apologies. #AR2375: $99 SOLD 
Ancient Roman, 3rd - 4th Century AD. Nice large two-handled jug. The body ovoid with well-turned foot, and flared mouth with thick angled lip. H: 6 1/8 in (15.5 cm). Intact and quite nice! Ex Orange County, CA private collection. #AR2212: $375
 Roman North Africa, 3rd - 4th Century AD. Large orange-ware shallow bowl or dish. With steeply angled walls, a wide, flat bottom and a narrow ring base. Dia: 9" (22.9 cm). Intact, earthen encrustation on the bottom. Ex San Diego private collection. ex-New Jersey Superior Court judge private collection; ex-Coincraft, London, acquired 1994. No stand unfortunately. But a nice display piece! #AR2223: $499
A large roman red-ware amphora, c. 3rd - 4th Century AD. The body with vertical ribbing ridges around the shoulder, the foot is flared and a pair of strap handles flank the widely flared mouth. H: 10" (25.5 cm). Intact with remaining deep brick-red slip. Ex Las Vegas, NV coll. Huge impressive display piece! #AR2280: $899

The body angled at mid-section with small flattened foot, short neck and wide, flat rim. H: 2 5/8" (65 mm). Intact with nice color and light deposits, antique collection label and "Thebes" written on side near foot. ex-Ernest Freemark collection formed 1913-1915; ex-R.  Ancient Greco-Roman buff-ware aryballos, c. 4th-3rd century BC. Nice little piece with single moulded-handle and small foot. Some repair, hole in one side. Stands 68 mm (2 5/8") tall. #271026: $199
 Roman Britain, c. 1st century AD. Great Romano-British bicolor ceramic bowl. Deep body with nearly vertical sides, small ring foot and two loop handles. Small fragment missing from bottom, otherwise intact. Extremely old collector tag with inked note which appears to read 'Ribeherto'. 10.3 cm x 6 cm (4" x 2 3/8").
