قررت وزارة الرياضة تكليف مجلس إدارة مؤقت للنادي ‎الأهلي برئاسة وليد بن عبدالرزاق معاذ، بعد قبول استقالة ماجد النفيعي وحل مجلس الإدارة. وأفادت وزارة الرياضة في بيان لها أنها تلقت مساء اليوم الأربعاء طلبا من رئيس مجلس إدارة نادي الأهلي الأستاذ ماجد النفيعي يتضمن طلبا باستقالته من منصبه.
وقررت وزارة الرياضة قبول استقالة ماجد النفيعي بعد تعهده بتسديد الالتزامات المالية الناشئة عن فترة دورة المجلس الحالي في حال تبين مخالفتها للأنظمة واللوائح.
